General
Shanxi Grand Hotel, located in the junction of Yingze Street and South Xinjian Road in Taiyuan, was opened in 1989. The transportation is convenient and the geographical position is superior. There are 166 rooms in the hotel, which are equipped with IDD, DDD, voicemail system and central air conditioning. The new business floor is luxury, convenient and comfortable with 24-hour Chinese and western restaurants, lobby bar, European style bar, and business center offered. In the restaurants, guests could taste the delicious foods from all over the world. The hotel also has a multi-functional hall, which is a good place to hold banquets.

A real 5 stars travelers hotel, nothing exciting but very well as it should be (5 stars), location is too far from the center.
Booking experience through TCG Booking Center: We were very surprised about the correctness and excellent service, at the hotel receptions we were announced and got a good service. Traveling in China with your bookings, there are no problem at all, and even more efficient although in Europe. For us you earn 5 stars.

Over the last 10 years I have stay at the Shanxi Grand Hotel a number of times, I have not once had any cause to complain, the staff are very helpful and the sevice is first class. My next vist to China is this April and I have already booked my stay at the Shanxi Grand, what more can I say... keep up the good work.
