But the Sheng Hua hotel does not derserve 4 stars. The room was not well cleaned the first day, same on the second day! Breakfast: 6/10. Staff service at the reception, not so friendly.

I would like to let you know that my first trip to China was a most pleasurable one, in part Thanks to Travel China Guide's outstanding service and accommodating manner. My reservations to the Sheng Hua Hotel in Chengde were made without any problems and the accommodations were admirable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful, though the language barrier was a little trying at times. We had a great English speaking tour guide of the city set up by the hotel, and enjoyed our time in Chengde immensely. I will definitely use TravelChinaGuide's services again on my next visit to China. Thank You Very Much!

The hotel is a good accommodation in Chengde, the hotel location is very good - easy transportation. Hotel room is comfortable and clean enough, the hotel staffs are helpful and courteous, some hotels staffs speak decent English, so that was no problem for the communication. In all, the hotel offered good service. I would like to stay in the hotel again.
