The hotel is close to the parks. The famous walking street Zhengyang Jie is behind the hotel and walking along the street at night is a great idea. The room is a little small. Sound proof is not good and you could even hear the guys next to your room. This one is not good as other Sheratons on other cities.

A very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast there is also superb. Next time I will choose it again if I visit Guilin.

We loved the Sheraton Guillin. The help was so courteous and so helpful, couldn't have been better. We also loved the location! Right next to the river on a wide tree lined street with lots of space to stroll, meet people and enjoy Guillin.
Suggestion: The rooms were very comfortable....especially appreciate the quality linens bedding....but we think local art should decorate the walls which are virtually bare.

The Sheraton in Guilin was nice, but we didn't feel deserved five stars. We had a minor problem with some laundry and on the Saturday night they had booked their main dining room for a wedding. The other dining room therefore became overloaded. We had reservations for a night cruise and needed dinner before going out. Once we made our needs known a table was made available but the service was slow. The buffet breakfast service was not as good as we had experienced when we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Shanghai. We think the hotel is nice but feel the staff are not as well trained as they should be.
