General

Established in 1984 and renovated in 1997, Silvermine Beach Hotel, Hong Kong is located in Lantau Island. It only takes five minutes to walk from this hotel to Mui Wo Pier and very convenient for guests to visit the places of interest in the island. The hotel is composed of two beautiful buildings - South Wing and New Wing, both of which can make guests enjoy the sunny and windy beach-style scenery. The 70 rooms in South Wing are spacious and comfortable, while the 58 rooms in New Wing are designed and equipped specially. The 128 rooms including family rooms provide guests with various beautiful views and all are equipped with television, mini fridge, iron and ironing board and some other facilities. The delicious foods from Southeast Asia and Guangdong are provided in the Cafe and Chinese restaurant, where Semi-Buffet, barbecue buffet and famous Chinese dishes are also available. Besides, different kinds of Chinese and Western meals are available for private parties and banquets.

Good place for leisure and tranquility. A little far from the Central but got pier not far, could go to Kowloon easily. Hotel indeed need refurbishment, the furniture, carpet of the room seems old kind. But fortunately they are clean.
Breakfast is ok but just enough for the price. The view is good, could see the beach and sea from the window. Hotel staff were friendly to us, always greetings us with smile and try their best to help us. We will stay in this hotel again if we have chances in the future.
