The hotel has a past of glory but it was about ten years ago. The half of the hotel is already renewed but it is considerably more expensive than the old half. We stayed in a garden view room (it was actually a parking-lot-garden view) in the old half and it was good. Unless the room must be renewed (it looks like an old mid-range hotel room) the balcony was a good option to stay in case of rain. The swimming pool area is definitely the best of the bay and the breakfast terrace is really lovely but the hotel lack of real management. If you want a real four star hotel you should stay somewhere else (I would recommend Pearl River Garden). The restaurant food is ok, the gym is actually a set of machines placed at the side entrance close to a pool table!
