Jinjiang Inn, Shanghai - the hotel is clean, personnel is helpful. Quality of Inn is good for the price. It is close to the Metro, line 3, exit at Shi Long Lu Station. (Shorter route to go from metro Station to the hotel: while exit the metro station, walk a short distance, turn left, go through the underway to Shi Long Road, then turn left at Shi Long Road, walk about a block and cross the road to Jinjiang Inn. The route is longer and confusing if walking through the back road i.e. Shi Long Ji Lu by turning right at the exit). The Long distance bus station and South Railway station is about 20 to 25 minutes walk along Shi Long Lu. Bus line 156 located about 2 - 3 blocks away on Shi Long Lu can also take you to the station.

The location, facility and surroundings is ok. The problem is English language and the payment. On the internet side is accepted payment Master, Visa, Yuan...but payment with MasterCard is not possible. We had a big problem because of that and we still have. They have to remove this from their internet side.

About the payment method accepted by Jinjiang Inn Shanghai South Railway Station, we have contacted the hotel. They can accept the payment by Visa and Master. But the hotel could not do the pre-authorization with the card. Thus, guests have to pay the deposit in cash. Hope for your kind notice.

The location of jin jiang inn south railway station is quite convenience, you can walk from metro station to the hotel, it is only one bus stop. The hotel facilities and cleanness are adequate and valuable for its price. The surrounding is still quite with open area. The only minor obstacle is English communication then the information that I got from staff is less detail.

Jin Jiang Inn was very good in all the above terms. But the only problem is staff does not understand English properly. There should be at least one person in the hotel who should understand English well.
Hotel was great you can refer to others who are looking for a budget stay.
Booking through TCG was absolutely fine.
