Thank you for your good service. You?e a big help to arrange for my trip in China. Star Lake Hotel was the best hotel in Zhaoqing from my own observations. The rooms were big and spotless. Facilities were modern and quite new. The bed was rock hard and my shoulder and knee hurt in the morning. I complaint about this to the hotel staff and soon bed sheets were sent to my room. It was good but supposed to take a mattress with me next time. The service was okay but most of the staffs don? speak English even a simple word. It was a problem for foreigners who could not understand some level of Chinese though the staffs seemed to try the very best they can to help. Some English training should be done by the hotel manager if they intend to accommodate more clients from abroad.

I like the hotel. However please have the name and address in Mandarin as well in the voucher, which helps tremendously in China.

I like the hotel and its location. I enjoyed the stay with only one problem that I paid for the breakfast for 2 days x 1 and 1 day x 2 but they gave me the coupen for 3 x 1 only and when my explaination was not taken by the officer on Duty.
