The hotel is not really walking distance from venetian and city of dreams casino and hotel. It will take almost 30 minutes of walk before you can reach them. However, there is a lot to see when you walk going there especially at night. There is a complimentary bus going there too. See the schedule in its website for the time of departure.

To go to senado square, where you can buy souvenir shirts and walk going to ruins of saint paul, ride the bus number 33 in the bus stop right across of the hotel. The fare is around MOP 4.20.

For the staff of the hotel, please improve your breakfast buffet and have a frontdesk staff who can speak and understand english.

Best Western Hotel Taipa is old and far away from the city center. It is not convenient for shopping and sightseeing in the city. The room is spacious and clean, but the bed is hard. The elevator is small only taking 4 people at most. The staff are friendly and courteous. Although the staff know limited English, they tried to fully meet our requests. The breakfast is extremely poor, few choices, and the environment is unacceptable, the servent is pushing the handcart with full of dirty plates around us time to time, that made me uncomfortable. During my whole breakfast time, no one change the plate for me. Terrible!! Though the room price is a great attraction to us, but considering the facilities and the service, we will think about our stay at the hotel next time in Macau.

1. From my idea I think that the best western hotel is acceptable for 3 stars hotel. The bed room is quite big and comfortable but one thing that the rest room is quite old. The breakfast food is not good it is very simple (not international food just only has Chinese food) when compared with I paid 50 HK$. The location is OK we can go somewhere is easy. We can take bus to travel around Macau. It's quite convenience. The hotel staffs is quite friendly except staff service in breakfast room. For overall I can provide rate 8/10 for this hotel.

2. To contact with TCG hotel booking is happy. We can get quickly response and fully details that we required. If I have a chance to visit China and Macau again, I will use your service for booking hotel.

I have just spent one night in this hotel and would never stay here again. Beds were stone hard, room was freezing as no heating was available. Carpets and bathroom grimy, not that I could use the shower as there was no hot water in the morning. I quite literally could not get out of there fast enough. Best Western really needs to monitor more closely there indepently owned hotels, this one experience is enough to cross Best Western off my list of preferred hotels.

We checked in last Jan 2006 and we had a great time. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was just right. The staff was very helpful although they understand very little english. Luckily, there was a Filipino security guard who gave us great sightseeing tips. Breakfast was buffet western and chinese and we loved it. Didn't know there was free shuttle service. We like this hotel a lot, we're again booked this December.
