I stayed in Overseas Chinese Hotel just for one night. I love its location, very centrally located in the center of the town and with walking distance to the Star Lake. The lake was so beautifully and it was a pleasure to stroll along the lakeside after dinner. It was a good value for the money as the rate is quite cheap. Well, the room was somewhat needed renovated and the bed was super hard. Any way, you?l get what you pay for. I recommend this hotel to someone for overnight stay or backpackers as its cheap price.

Yes, I was happy. I do not go around the world expecting everyone to speak English, so the fact that it took me a long time to find the hotel and then be understood is no one's problem but mine. The room was nice if not a little institutional, and the view of the lake was pleasant. The best thing was that it has a bus going from Zhaoqing to Macao, which saved me so much time, as originally I was going to go back to Hong Kong and then go to Macao, so it also saved me 270 or so HK dollars or Chinese yuan. Everyone in the hotel was nice, and the serve TCG gave me also was good. You did send me the Chinese characters that spelt the hotel's name in Cantonese but I was unable to print it directly from your email to me, or copy it and print it in that way. Thank you for your excellent service.
