The hotel organized a free pick-up at the airport. The breakfast was good with a good choice of Chinese and western meal. The room was clean (they came several time a day to clean the room), we had a nice view on sand hills. We requested a taxi to go to Mogao caves but they booked hotel car at the same price (but later we understood that the taxi was cheaper and that from the town center was possible to take a very cheap public bus to the caves. The hotel staff did not mention at all this chance). In the evening there was a free shuttle to town center. The map of the town was not free. The location is less than 1km far from crescent lake and echoing hill.

We did have a wonderful time at Silk Road Dunhuang hotel. I recommend to book sand dune view room. The roof top coffee shop offers the best view to sand dunes. The hotel rooms are very good, including room service. Service in coffee shop is just acceptable. Service in Chinese restaurant is good. Reception desk personnel is well qualified and English speaking. I would recommend the hotel any time. My rating on a scale 1 to 5 would be 4.5.
Service of your agency is professional and good.

The service is very good, we left our universal adaptor in the hotel room, and the staff sends it to the train station for us.
