Yes it is a convenient hotel if you want to walk to go. But the price is high for what they offer. It is a dated hotel with low maintenance and that you see and experience.

After going back and reading these reviews, I’d say those written are pretty exaggerated. The place is what you would expect of hotel charging that much for a room, I’ve stayed in Chinese hotels half the price that offer the same size rooms, facilities etc. So in terms of grading it against what you'd expect to receive then it is average, you will be content to stay there but there's nothing really that separates it from expectations or what any hotel charging its price would be.
The internet was not working in the rooms on the first day I stayed there, technical problem, after 2 weeks of traveling this was becoming a constant occurrence at most of the places I stayed at but their lobby has 2 PCs hooked up that can be used.
Was also a bit strange that it was the first hotel in China that I stayed at the didn't already have one of those electric mosquito deterrent devices, even asking to be provided with one for 4 nights and being told they'd get me one they still didn't fulfill that and I was left to killing the mossies manually which in the building there is a surprising amount of them.
TCG is great that it has a comprehensive review of the hotels, location, and the booking process is efficient.

We love the location of the hotel on a quiet hutong as well as the very helpful staff. The value is great! Just one point ... at the TianRui Hotel, Beijing, your site advertises a restaurant, but when I enquired about a meal in the evening I was told that they had no more food:-) ... the first time I did this it was a bit late in the evening, so I wasn't so surprised (as I know that the Chinese eat early), but out of curiosity, i asked again another day at 6.30pm, to be told the same thing :-) ............ I must say I found it a bit odd ...
Anyway, it wasn't a problem since there are plenty of places to eat near the TianRui, and also, the hotel has a cafe (the Simoo cafe) where you can get a sandwich or a snack ... so it was fine.
