The booking experience with TravelChinaGuide was excellent but the hotel was below our expectation. Our door wouldn't shut probably without slamming it very hard & the key card wouldn't work so every time we returned to our room, we had to call an employee to open it for us. We booked out room with breakfast but it was very disappointing. It was served in a made shift "conference room" on the 3rd floor, not a regular restaurant & we were dining in rows, not regular dining tables. The carpets were filthy & the food selection was extremely limited & sub-standard - cold buns, cold food, etc. We were given 1 packet of instant coffee each with no cups offered & no refills. When we asked for cups, they brought out 2 glasses from the kitchen. There were no other beverages of any kind available, not even tea! We could have had a more satisfying breakfast (hot food) outside the hotel for less than half the price. If the restaurant was under renovation (the fact of which hasn't been confirmed), the Hotel should inform their guests so they could make a choice of having breakfast elsewhere. Thank goodness we only stayed there for 1 night before returning home.

The hotel is located near the Beijing Railway Station, the transportation is very convenient. It is an ideal hotel for independent travelers. It is very easy to get to the bus and subway station to go to most of the tourist attractions. The hotel's service quality and provide hosting service, room is relatively clean, but is quite old, facilities become older.

Hotel facilities are in general, very poor television effects, and the three stars do not quite match. However, the hotel service is better, and close to the Beijing Railway Station, convenient for us.

My hotel booking experience with travel china guide was excellent. I received a phone call from the agent in a few minutes confirming my booking. Thank you TravelChinaGuide!
Overall I was happy with the hotel location and room. However, I was disappointed with the evening hotel staff. They were outright rude and arrogant when I informed them about the internet not working. They claimed that the hotel modem was not functional and directed me to internet cafes outside the hotel. All this happened after 10pm. I would have gladly conceded, if this information was available earlier in the day. After an hour of demanding the manager's contact information to resolve the issue, the front desk finally produced a modem that I could take to my room to connect (after an additional deposit of RMB300). It worked but left a negative impression of the hotel service. We checked out the following morning.
