I admit that this hotel was cheap but I still would not ever stay there again. The toilet didn't work, they fixed it and it broke again. We ran out of toilet paper after a few uses, there was no soap to wash your hands, the walls were dirty, and the bed was tiny.

We stay here at 17 sept 2010 for 6 nights (2 standard twin room ). The location was great, close to Dengshikou MRT station, nearby there are supermarkets, bakery, restaurant, bank (no need 5 minutes to walk ), near to wangfujing shopping district.
The rooms are uncomfortably hot; the weather at Beijing is a little cold now. We complained about the air conditioning, but the hotel staff told us to open the window.
For 6 nights stayed at this hotel, there was not air conditioning in the room, Open the window every day. I don't know why, maybe cold weather, so the hotel turns off the Air conditioning or may be the air conditioning did not work.
At one day morning, there are no water from the shower, I can not wash my mouth and face, can not take a bath. The water can come out just a little but very dirty. When I complained about this, the hotel staff said the plumber still fixed the main pipe at the hotel, so there is no water, I wait until for about 8 o'clock. How about if we joined the tour ? No need to wash mouth, face and no need to take a bath in the morning?
Booking through TCG was very comfortable, cannot complain about anything. I will use this website again if I want to travel to China again. I will recommend your booking center to my other friends. Thank you very much for your service, very excellent....

The hotel’s location is very good, everything is quite near and through the subway station it is very convenient to get to other sights. At the reception they could speak and understand English. We only had some problems with the toilet, but the Service helped us. Next to the hotel is also a cheap Chinese restaurant, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. I would recommend it to my friends.

We two from Holland stayed here for our honeymoon. The hotel room is very clean but a bit small. It is just near Wangfujing Street, shopping is very convenient. The problem is that the hotel staff speaks a little English but they could understand me well. And I do not recommend this hotel for Young couples; it is just fit for the common travelers.

The location was great. It was close enough to walk to Tian'anmen Square, and close by to the hospital when I needed it. It is also close to Dengshikou MRT Station and the rest of the network. Wanfujing road also gave me an easy reference point from which to walk to all sorts of places. Nearby are also supermarkets, grocers, bakers and restaurants, most of whom had people who knew some English. The Hotel staff was very good, even though their English was limited -1.It was better than my rudimentary Mandarin, and 2.They went out of their way to help me whenever they could.
Three small negatives:
1.The hotel, being so central, was a little noisy early in the morning.
2. Once a room has had smokers occupy it, the smell never goes away - as it did not while I was there.
3. The room was small-but for the price, I do not see this as a negative.
Booking was easy with Travel China Guide, and I will continue to use it.
