Located beside the beautiful West Lake, West Lake Hillview International Hotel, Hangzhou is a foreign-related tourism and business hotel. Surrounded by the famous attraction sites like Jingsi Temple and Leifeng Pagoda, the hotel has a charming neighborhood. Transportation here is also very convenient: it only needs 15 minutes to walk to the West Lake. Opened in 2007, the hotel has 183 rooms/suites including Mountain View Room, Garden View Room, Executive Room, etc. The hotel also has some other facilities like 7 conference halls with different functions and in various sizes, spa center covering 1,000 square meters, chess & card room, gymnasium, ping-pong room, outdoor badminton field and so on.

The hotel was lovely; the staff was friendly and courteous. The room was well appointed and clean.

I would definitely stay here again. Thanks TCG. Booking through your service is always trouble free and I will always use your service in the future.

I have to make an update of my review i submitted earlier today.

In that review i did not recommend the hotel because 4 taxi drivers refused to drive us to the hotel. I thought because it was the location of the hotel (out of town). Afterwards i heard the reason was their change of work shift. They only took rides into their direction to the South. Between 15.30-17.00 it would be hard to get a taxi from the lake area back to the hotel. In the evening we got a taxi to the hotel without difficulties.

We are staying yet in the West Lake Hillview International Hotel.

Our garden room has 2 large single beds, wooden floor and wooden furniture. Bathroom has separate shower and bath. We are satisfied with the room. Staff is also friendly and breakfast is good.

The big minor of this hotel is its location. It's out of the city on a quite spot. Travelchinaguide sais it is 7 minutes walk. No, it is between 20 - 30 minutes to the lake (depending how fast you walk and the traffic lights). Taxi's refused to take us to the hotel this afternoon when they know the location of the hotel. We had to walk more than one hour before we were back. Unless you have a car, i would not recommend this hotel.
