The Wharney(GDH) Hotel Hong Kong is a four star hotel which was built in 1987 and decorated in 2004. It is situated in Wan Chai, the business center of Hong Kong, within easy walking distance to the public transportation systems including the MTR underground railway and the ferry to Kowloon. From here, you can go anywhere in Hong Kong or Kowloon in minutes. There are 358 rooms in all. Each room is equipped with a mini-bar, in-house movies, cable TV, in-room safe, laptop ports, hair dryer, and charged Wi-fi. The business center is located in the lobby. It provides full secretarial service; translation and courier services, fax and mail service, mobile telephone and personal computer rental are available.

Nice Hotel, located where the nightlife happens.
Good for single males or young couples looking to have a good time.
Bathroom small but functional Wifi included.

Good location, centrally located in the Wanchai district, with loads of cafes, shops, bars, markets around. Close to mtr station, also not far to the Star Ferry where you could go to Kowloon.
Room is not very big, but newly renovated and clean. Has every needed amenity (mini bar, hairdryer, safe, etc.) Out of the window is the view of the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong people? life. Interesting!
Staff is professional, check-in/ check out quickly. Most of the staff speaks good English.
Little defect: the hotel located in a kind of ?ed light district? For single female traveler is not a good choice.
We will consider staying in this hotel again. Anyhow, it has convenient location.
