We have stayed at The White Swan twice (1997 & 2008). We loved our stay both times. During our most recent trip, we stayed in six different hotels in China and The White Swan was the best by far. I cannot reccommend it highly enough.

I stayed at the White Swan when adopting my Chinese daughter in 2003. It was so wonderful and I still speak of the hotel as it is the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. I miss the hotel, the Chinese people and their kindness until this day. It is my hope to go back to China when my daughter is a teenager and we will visit the White Swan again. It makes me sad that China is so far away as I would love to visit there more often.

Located on the Shamian Island, the hotel is somewhat of an oasis in the busy city of Guangzhou. The environment around is very beautiful and quiet.

The hotel itself is very nice. Luxury beautiful lobby. Room is a little dated, small but clean and the river view and the light show are just beautiful. Here is very close to the American consulate, hotel is full of American couples and their toddler adopted children. Lovely kids

We tried the buffet in the hotel, it was great. With enormous choice, juice, sushi, sashimi, salad... The Grilling in our door is the feature. If you have ever stayed in the hotel, do try it.

We will definitely stay in this hotel again only if we have the chance.
