I booked this hotel just because it is one 5 star hotel in Xian. But it is far away from the city center and the transportation is not that convenient. Hotel staff is not considerate. After stayed there for 2 nights, we transferred to another hotel nearby. Honestly, the hotel room is large; bed is comfortable; and washroom is clean.

The hotel has been extended and is still under renovation. Thus, the rooms were very nice and we had no problems at check in or during our stay. Because of the renovation the exercise room and the pool was closed. Regarding service it was very clear that the personnel is not used to the expexted level of service which are required of a hotel of this standard. Thus, at times they were somewhat helpless when meeting our - not in anyway unreasonnable - requests. But all in all we had a very nice stay.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous; the staffs super friendly & the atmosphere extremely relaxing. After long days of walking various sites all day I used the hotel massage service to relieve my aching body, the massage lady was so good I booked double sessions because it was like going to heaven - Jenny your hands are amazing! The food was of high quality and plentiful, delicious deserts. For a five star rated hotel the meal prices as well as the room prices where certainly very reasonable. Journey to the downtown core by taxi is very reasonable, I think somewhere around 14 RMB ($2).

Our only hiccup was the room had twin beds while we did not pick up that for them a 'standard room' means twin and not a double bed for me and my wife.

We are sincerely sorry for it. Actually the hotel has two kinds of Standard Rooms, double-bed rooms and Twin bed rooms. We feel regret that we did not inform the hotel to arrange a double-bed room for you and your wife. Thus, if we have the chance to book accommodation for you next time, you can write down your special request in the 'preference' column when filling in the online booking form next time, such as non-smoking room, high floor, double bed and so on. In that case, we can forward it to the hotel and they can make better arrange for you in advance. Hope for your better understanding.

Xian Paradise Resort: It can't be considered a 5 stars hotel. The carpet is full of spots and the towels are old. Good bed and sheets but they didn't have the famous card that allow them not to change the bed sheets every day and they didn't do it. Sauna very poor. Room service with few options and when you choose one of these options, they didn't have. Although of the hotel was almost empty, they gave us a room very far from the lobby. We asked for staying in the room for some more hours after the check out time and the girl told me that they would charge for this. I would not stay at this hotel again.

About TCG: I really loved your service. The hotel address in Chinese, sent with the voucher, was wonderful. I didn't have any problem in none of the reservations during our visit in China. We made 8 reservations using TCG and all of them where perfect. We decided to change one of the hotels just one day before and we used your on-line service, that was wonderful too.
