The hotel is very comfortable. It is rather quite although it is in a very busy and crowded part of town. The staff is friendly and some speak English. The breakfasts and dinners are very good, buffet-style.

Mr. Gordon Weiner(Guest)(USA) said:

At the last minute I had to travel to Wuhan, China and knowing little about the area I took a number that listed suggested hotels. I tried one hotel after another that u recommended, until a business acquaintance of mine suggested that I try the Yangtse Hotel in Hankou.

My son was being treated virtually next door at the Wuhan-Tongji hospital and I did not even know this hotel existed.

My first encounter of this four-star business-oriented hotel sent me scurrying for my luggage. Because of the extended stay at the hospital I was offered a suite of rooms at less than the cost I was paying for rather unexceptional single rooms. The suite was far roomier than most I have rented in the States, beautifully furnished, on the executive floor with its lounge, and administered by the most personal level of a caring staff that I have had in any hotel, and I have stayed in many. Add to this the fitness room, gymnasium, sauna, tennis court and two restaurants serving outstanding (and varied) cuisine, and I knew I had found a winner.
