Regards to the Yuquan Simpson Hotel, Jinan I stayed: Not up to 4 stars rating. The carpet in the room needs to be cleaned or preferably change. Generally not very clean.. However the staffs are very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast is the best I have encountered for a 4 star hotel. The location is very good.
We would like to rate the Yuquan Simpson Hotel Jinan as a three star hotel instead of four star. The hotel is updated and the staff was not enthusiastic. The bellboy was not helpful even we had luggage. The service needs progress. Due to the old facilities, the guestroom seems not clean. Both the guestroom and the bathroom were small in size. The distribution of the room was not pleasant. The room has internet connection but it was not for free! Overall, it was not a real bargain. We would not like to return to it next time.
On arriving at the hotel, we took a taxi. There are many taxies outside the hotel providing ride, be on your guard!
Strong points: The hotel has a good location. It is near the Quancheng Square. It is rather convenient for both shopping and sauntering. Besides, there are airport buses just outside the hotel which greatly helped us. However, there are no airport buses from the airport to the hotel. It is really a pity.
