Pingyao Zhengjia Hotel, a three-star folk guesthouse assessed by the Pingyao Tourism Bureau, is located on No.68 South Yamenjie Road, facing the famous Pingyao Ancient County Administration. It is the most important component of the architectural complex in Pingyao Ancient City with a history of 200 years. The guesthouse has an intense structure and a delicate layout. It's a typical courtyard of the Ming-and-Qing-Dynasties style with delicate wooden, brick and stone carvings and paintings on the wooden corridors and eaves tiles. The rooms are furnished with kangs and silk quilts in ancient folk residential style and equipped with bathrooms, air-conditioners and other modern facilities. Local snacks are also offered.

My daughter and I visited this old city this winter. And we stayed at Zhengjia Hostel for two nights. I would like to say our staying was amazing and nice. Everything in the hotel was clean and with the local characteristic, especially bed (they called "kang"). All the staffs were very helpful and hospitable. They made us feel at home. Also, it is very convenient to check the email in the hotel because the internet access is just available in the room and lobby.

Overall, I like this hotel very much and would like to visit here again in future.

I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone. This hotel decorated in the style of ancient China, conjures of visions of a glorious and civilized past. We stayed for 3 nights in Zhengjia Hostel, having breakfast, lunch and dinner. All food is good. The hotel is located on main road. The hotel staffs are very kind and helpful. The room rate is acceptable. One problem is that the hotel is too far from the airport, and the transportation fee is high. Anyway, the hotel is very good.
