Hi Lena, Here is my feedback regarding the service. 1. Zhongtang Courtyard, Beijing: The hotel met my expectations. We were given the biggest room just above the lobby. It was clean and nice. When I went to the Forbidden City and saw the rooms displayed there, I saw similarities with that room and our hotel room and made me think that this was how the rooms were back then. It was really interesting. I toured the hotel and it was really photogenic. (I took some pictures and posted it on my multiplay site). I really appreciated the traditional style of the place. However, there was no Foreign Currency Exchange as mentioned in your website. I asked the hotel staff regarding this and they directed me to a bank nearby. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We arrived an hour before the regular check-in time but they allowed it. (The regular check-in time was 2pm and we arrived around 1pm). I didn't have any difficulty communicating with them since their English is also good. They were very friendly. The location is also convenient because it's near tourist attractions but some taxis were not aware on how to get to this place even if I showed them the address in Chinese. Luckily, I have a map. There are bus stops nearby so I didn't have any problems commuting. There are also a lot of shops nearby and we were able to shop the last minute. Restaurants and convenience stores are also near the place. (I also did a review on my blog regarding my experience) 2. TCG Booking Center met my expectations. My requests and queries were attended to within 24 hours and I didn't had any problems regarding my reservations when I came to the hotel. I would definitely use this service again when I go to other parts of China some time next year. The reviews are also helpful. I have recommended your site to other people. I would like to suggest an online booking system through your website where the user can just provide credit card details similar to the ones that airlines use. I would also appreciate a notification through email when my reservation has been refunded to my credit card. As of now, I haven't received any notification and I would like to know the status.
