Arrived late and was not able to get the internet rate. I was told that the room was already taken! Bunch of BS I think. Anyways, the staff were not a friendly bunch. Not even a simple hi, hello or thank you the whole time I was there. As for the location (only selling point) of the hotel,just be careful when walking around the railroad station. Not exactly a safe place for a first time visitor to Shanghai to stay around the area. Excellent location. The hotel is next to Metro stops of Line 1 and 4. Across the street from the railway station and is a block away from the main long distance bus station. Only thing hotel carpets are bit worn, other than that, rooms and entire hotel are very clean and professionally run. English is only spoken by several staff members.
