The hotel has good standard, both bedrooms and facilities. The room rate is very good compared to other hotels. Some of the bathrooms need to be sharpened up a bite. The staff does a good job, and are helpful with ordering you a cab back to the airport. A disadvantage is that only few of them speak English.

PS! People taking a taxi from the airport to the hotels in the city center should be aware of so called "black cars", driving illegally. One of the taxi drives is a short, little man, about 1.6 meters, probably in his 40s or early 50s. He dresses like a European and speaks good English. He waits for tourists in the arrival hall or on the way out of the airport, acts calm and is offering you a taxi. He is driving a black/dark brown BMW, with no taxi sign on top.

When I was driving with him from the airport, he suddenly stopped and picked up a helper, a tall and overweight man in the early 20s, probably 1, 8 meters. He knows a little English and is behaving clumsy, shouts much and is sending texts while he is driving. When you get to your hotel, they demands 450 RMB for driving you to the city center, while the ordinary taxi rate is 90 RMB.

Great location, great views, close to bus and central train station, and only a short walk to CBD. Unfortunately, there is very few staff that can speak any English, and those are not always available. Rooms clean, neat and tidy, although toilet was leaking and continually ran. No problems at any of the hotels finding power with Australian plugs, although in this hotel the only outlet with the correct size pins was for the fridge, so carry a double adapter just in case. But I would stay here again!

The only disappointment is that the deposit to be paid at each hotel (which are substantially more than the actual booking) are not mentioned at the top of this page by TCG, and the only reference to it is buried in the hotel FAQ's link on the original China hotels option. This was quite a shock to find out when in China as I was cutting it fine for money until the deposit refunds came through 2 days later after I had checked out.

By far the best service I have had in China. The staff didn't speak English very well, but they did everything to understand me and to help me. In the reception and in the restaurant they give even more service than I would expect. Also the location is great.

It was a nightmare getting to the hotel from the drop off point with the shuttle bus. We had to carry our suitcases as the Taxies would not take us. We trudged downstairs to go underground pulling 2 large cases and laptop computer plus hand luggage was not happy. It was only about 5 blocks away but hard to find when we got in at 6pm. The Hotel room was very clean. Breakfast not very nice. Poor selection.

Your service again is fantastic. Thankyou

I am a regular guests at this hotel in their foot massage center. During my off, I always find time to go there and relax and unwind, since the staff are very nice.Until one night. I was harrased by a masseur there, and i told him that i dont need his service, only the girl i hired, but he insisted. That was totally a rude character of a masseur. I am on the process of making my harrassment letter to the management and I hope they will make an immediate attention to my request. That bastard masseur touches my breasts even if i told him not to. Shame on this hotel.
