Three Kingdoms Era is defintly one of the most intresting periods of Chinease History. For anyone who REALLY wants to learn about it the only thing that i can realy point anyone to is "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and "Kongming.net", the website www.threekingdoms.com is really useful to, you can also try "Records of the Three Kingdoms"

I like this peirod , and respect Zhu geliang's tactics, he is really a master of war. I also feel sorry for the peoples in that period, because the wars broke out continusly, so many innocent people were killed. we chinese should cherish the peaceful time now, Because the war happened on and off in China for more than 2000 years

I love this book. Read it numerous times. And seen movies related related to the novel, Like 3 Kingdoms, Redclif 1 & 2. Too bad these movies arent released in the US. However, If you wanna re-live that era I recommend playing an MMORPG (Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Games). There is an Online game called Three Kingdoms. Click on this link http://threekingdoms.uforia.com/.

This is by far my favorite book of all time. I have often thought about how cool it would be to go back to that time and be a warrior. I would find Liu Xuande and help him and Zhuge Liang as much as I could with the knowledge I have from reading the books so many times and advanced learnings. But realistically, they would probably have me executed if I could go back before I got even a few yards from the Emperor. It's a cool thought to think what I could do to help, but not smart on my part. Oh well.

Honestly, I love the Romanticizing of the Three Kingdoms. I often wish I could go back to historical periods simply because I think I'd fit in more. But honestly it most cases it probably wouldn't have been a good thing.
As previously stated, yeah there were some good generals who went down in history but think of the countless amount of people who didn't. According to the census taken at the end of the Han and beginning of the Jin China's population went from 50 million to only 16 million. I'm not sure I would take the chance to go back to that time. Maybe if I was born there and grew up with that life style I might be able to deal with it.
Honestly though I think saying that I wish I could go back to that time period as a great General like Zhao Yun or Zhang Fei is a bit childish, heroes in this day in age compared to then are just as rare. The only difference is that the vocations are varied more and these great people don't get any recognition.

I'm afraid I cannot agree with you. It's full of wars though many great heroes were born in that dynasty. Battles brought ordinary people plenty of tribulation.
I wanna go back and become that great hero who was the soul survivor of the great 5 tiger generals in the shu kingdom, known as Zhao Yun or Zhao Zilong
