Located in the southeast of Shandong Peninsula, Qingdao is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It connects with Yantai on the northeast, Weifang on the west and Rizhao on the southwest. As a famous seaside city, Qingdao boasts wide beaches and fine harbors, which make it a nice holiday destination. In this map of downtown Qingdao, you can see there are many tourist attractions along the seaside, such as the No.1 Bathing Beach, No.2 Bathing Beach, No.3 Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area, Tianhou Palace and Rebounding Waves Pavilion.
On the Qingdao map, the road name is written in Chinese pinyin. You can see the major roads in Qingdao City, including Sichuan Lu, Guizhou Lu, Yan'an Lu, Liaoning Lu and Wendeng Lu, etc. ('Lu' is 'road' in English.) By the sea, a beautiful seaside long corridor is formed by Guanxian Lu, Sichuan Lu, Guizhou Lu, Taiping Lu, Laiyang Lu, Wendeng Lu and Zhanshan Dalu. You may have a bicycle tour on this long corridor to appreciate the glamour of this seaside city.
Also you can see the Qingdao-Jinan Railway crosses the city from north to south along the coast. There are three railway stations on this rail line - Qingdao Railway Station located at the southern end of the railway, the freight Sifang Station in north Qingdao and the deserted old Dagang Station in the middle.

It is suggested that you fly to Shanghai Pudong Airport firstly and then transfer to Qingdao here. Or you could fly to Xiamen Airport and then go to Qingdao by air, too.
