The Tenth Manchuria China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival will be opened in late December. The preparation work is smoothly underway.
This year, the Ice and Snow Park, the main venue of the festival, is located at China-Russia Road Pedestrian Street in the south of the Manchuria Citizen’s Square. Covering an area of 17,940 square yards, the park is well designed, giving more emphasis on its entertaining function.
The festival will feature a series of ‘children enjoyment’ ice carvings and snow sculptures: folk tales garden and cartoon snow sculptures, maze and the temple of Olympian Zeus sculpture.
Manchuria is not only the biggest port city for railway transportation in China but also a renowned tourist city. Every winter, about 100,000 tourists from home and abroad flock here to take part in the China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival.
