Yunnan: Wenshan Puzhehei Airport to Open Soon

Located at Wenshan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, the Puzhehei Airport will be officially set for operation on August 30, 2006.

 

With the investment of more than 300 million Yuan, the airport, which is about 23 kilometers away from the government of Wenshan Autonomous Prefecture, was started to build since April, 2004. It is estimated that the airport will hold 150,000 passengers a year with the aircraft type of Boeing 737 operated by Southern Airlines.

 

There will be 4 shifts a week respectively on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday for the roundtrip flight of Nanning-Wenshan-Kunming. The detailed flight schedule is below:
