Beijing: Advance sale Period for Train Ticket Changes to 10 days as of Today

Beijing Railway Bureau has announced that from September 6^th, tickets for journeys from Beijing to other cities will be available 10 days prior to the date of travel. This is to bring into effect uniformity in the availability.

 

Similarly, the advance sales period of CRH (China Railway High-speed) and Direct Express ('Z' initial train) has been adjusted from 20 days to 10 days while that of the ordinary train has been prolonged from 4 days to 10 days.

 

Meanwhile, both CRH and Direct trains have canceled the 180-day advance booking service. From now on, passengers will need to book tickets by phone or directly from the station 10 days prior to travel.
