Zhengzhou-Shanghai CRH to Start as of Sept. 10th

The news from the Zhengzhou Railway Bureau is that Zhengzhou to Shanghai CRH (China Railway High-speed) D88/5 and D82/3 will start operations with effect from September 10^th.

 

It is predicted that the entire journey from Zhengzhou to Shanghai will take only six hours and 37 minutes, via Kaifeng, Shangqiu, Xuzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi. Compared with the Zhengzhou to Shanghai train, it will save five hours and 17 minutes. The time schedule is as follows (time accords with Beijing Time):

The ticket for the first class is CNY 299 while the second class is CNY 239. These can be booked 10 days in advance; the return ticket can be booked 12 days in advance. Ticket will still be available in Xuchang, Anyang and Jiaozuo railway stations.
