Mt. Yunmengshan, Beijing

Mt. Yunmengshan is complimented as “Small Mt. Huangshan” due to its unbelievable beautiful natural scenery and famous for its six characteristic spots: steep peaks, odd stones, waterfalls and springs, cloud, forest and the historic sites. With flower blossoming in April and May, rambling in the cloud in July and August and the harvest of mountain fruits in September and October, Mt. Yunmengshan presentsits various beauties in different seasons, and reveals its charm from all aspects. You may take bus No. 916 at Beijing Dongzhi Men stop and change the microbus to Mt. Yunmengshan at Beijing Huairou District, or you may take bus No. 936 which runs from Dongzhi Men to Labagou Men and you can get off at Mt. Yunmengshan Park. The transfer may need 1.5 hours. From middle April, the tourist buses to Mt. Yunmengshan are available in front of the church of Xuanwumen  from 06:00 to 08:00 on every Saturday and Monday. The ticket charge is CNY40.00 per person and CNY50.00 per person for the air-contained buses. When visiting Mt. Yunmengshan, we suggest you find a local tour guide to guide you to the right direction. Otherwise, you may get lost and can not visit the important sites. Stay overnight at Mt. Yunmengshan.

In the second day's morning, take bus No. 936 to Beijing Huairou District to connect bus No. 916 or the microbus to Qinglong Gorge, which is a national AAAA tour spot and national water conservancy scenic area. It is a good choice to spend your weekend here and get relaxed in the rural area, mountain scenery and the Great Wall background. The ancient Great Wall which was first built in the Ming Dynasty surround the sheer mountains and it has experienced hundreds of years' vicissitudes. You may have an illusion that you are visiting the three gorges of the Yangtze River by boating on the lake at the foot of the Great Wall. The whether in Qinglong Gorge is always cool and pleasant. Besides boating, you may entertain yourselves with the other water facilities, such as fishing, sand beach volleyball, sand beach football, river drifting, etc. Once finishing your visit, please take bus No. 936 to Labagou Men scenic area, or you may take bus to Huairou district and then connect the green microbus to Labagou Men. Stay overnight there.

Qinglong Gorge, Beijing

Visit the Labagou Men scenic area on the third day, which is the only available natural ecological scenic area of virgin forest. Here, we still suggest you find a tour guide to lead you to the different destinations. Labagou Men is divided into three parts: Fenghuangtai area, glacier area and Wulongtan area. The most beautiful sceneries in Fenghuangtai are Fenghuang (phoenix) village, the butterfly spring and silver birch forest, and you can visit the oak trees in Wulongtan area. One day may be too rushed to cover all of these spots, and you may discuss with the guide to visit your preferred sites. After your visit, you can take bus No. 936 back to Beijing Dongzhimen bus stop.
