Day by Day Itinerary

Departure: Daily

City center of Chongqing

Day One: Entry Chongqing
TCG guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you at Chongqing Airport according to your international (internal) flight schedule. Transfer to the 4-star hotel for 1 night stay and relax for the rest of the day.

Meals: None
Hotel: Holiday Inn Yangtze Hotel ( 4 star)

Day Two: Chongqing - Dazu
This morning, take you to Duzu and have a whole day tour to the Baoding Carvings, the noted Grotto Art in Dazu County. Have an overnight stay at 3 star hotel in Dazu.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Dazu Hotel ( 3 star)

Day Three: Dazu - Leshan - Mt. Emei
Early this morning, start from Dazu by car to Leshan Mountain. Viewing the biggest carvings statute of the World, the Leshan Giant Buddha. Then continue the transfer to Emei and check in at the 5 star hotel for an overnight stay.

Hotel: Building No.5 of Hongzhushan Hotel ( 5 star)

Giant Panda Museum in Chengdu

Day Four: Mt. Emei - Chengdu
Morning transfer takes you to Mt. Emei and follow a sightseeing tour to the Baoguo Temple and the Wannian Temple on Mt. Emei. Take you to Chengdu and have 2 nights stay at 4 star hotel.

Hotel: Yinhe Dynasty Hotel ( 4 star)

Day Five: Chengdu - Wolong - Chengdu
Take car to the famous Wolong Panda Reserve. You will have a chance to have a close visit to the lovely pandas in the Panda Center and learn more about pandas in the Panda Museum. Return to Chengdu.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day Six: Chengdu Exit
After visiting the Tomb of Wangjian, private transfer takes you to the airport and your pleasant China tour ends here.

There are two sites people can see the panda in Chengdu. One is in Wolong Panda Reserve Center and the other is in Chengdu inner city Giant Panda Base. If you have sufficient time, then Wolong Panda Reserve Center is recommended. It will cost 2-3 hours to get there, including the Panda museum, this center is really huge, which requires more than a day for a thorough enjoyment. Wolong more looks like a research base in the mountain, this is the real atmosphere some of travelers are longing for. If your visit time is limited, Chengdu Base is also OK. For some extent, you can also get pretty much same experience at both. Both offer the opportunity to have photoes by holding panda. It is just a short way north of downtown Chengdu, easily accessible.
