Yesterday I've been to kaili and i have to say that the sunday market (laojie) doesn't worth a visit at all. forget to see minorities selling their own traditional products. it has become a normal market, with normal (and ugly) stuff.
i was really disappointend.
concerning the textile market, products are much better and nicer, but it is very touristic and prices are very very high.
