What I suggest you do is to visit Macau Churches. There's a specific brochure in the airport or the Visitor Center in the Ferry Terminal which details the churches you can visit. If you're Catholic, try to hear mass that is celebrated in Portuguese. Compare/Contrast Macau Churches Architecture which are of Portuguese influence with ours which is Spanish.
Don't forget to go to Rua de Sao Paulo, Macau's most famous landmark and the nearby Museum where almost all the guards are Filipinos. By the way, there are a lot of Filipinos in Macau, don't hesitate to ask for help, ang babait nila, sometimes mag-vovolunteer na samahan kang mag-tour.
Ask them about a nearby Chinese City that's supposed to be a cheap shopping haven (like Shenzen). I forgot the name of the City, its only a bus ride away from Macau. You need to get a Visa though, which you could apply/process/finish in a matter of hours (daw).
There's always the Casinos. Sands and Wynn are the new ones.
Hope that helps.
