Day One: Entry Pingyao
TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the Taiyuan Airport ahead of the flight schedule. Transfer you to Pingyao and check into the local 2-star hotel for 2 nights stay. Have a visit to Qiao Family's compound on the way.

Day Two: Pingyao
Today's tour bring you to the City Wall, the Ming - Qing Street, the Chenghuang Temple, the Ri Sheng Chang Financial House and the Tongxinggong ancient bank bodyguard establishment in Pingyao ancient town and the Shuanglin Monastery.

Day Three: Pingyao - Taiyuan Exit
Take car to Taiyuan railway station or airport to see you off.

Pingyao itself could be taken as a sight spot as a whole. The best way to appreciate it is to hire a bicycle meander way through the narrow streets. We hired bikes with locks from a lovely lady at Cheng Huang Temple street for 10 Yuan each for a day with 100 yuan deposit. A guesthouse recommended in Pingyao is Tian Yuan Kui Inn. All stone and red lanterns!! It truly is a wonderful example of a courtyard building with lots of atmosphere. You may need to have a coffee or drink to do so but it is worth it.

Hello,everyone.There are two shows in Pingyao Ancient City.one of them is the Pingyao Grand Theater which is loated in the ChengHuan Miao Street .When you arrive there ,you can see the nine dragons screen wall.It is very beautiful.and take the photo with them.The price of the ticket :vip seat(100yuan).60yuan for the middle.and the 48yuan is the lowest pirce .the show with the english title.it is perfect .but if you want to see,you need to book the ticket.you can send the email to (pingyaotourguide@gmail.com) to book the ticket or dial the phone (158 3503 3752).update:the show starts at 20:00 normally.and lasts one hour.It is very nice .and show us the local opera and the dance etc.

A Terrific Hostel in Pingyao

I want to give an enthusiastic endorsement to the Harmony Backpacker Guest House in Pingyao. I stayed there for several days recently, and the service is great and the place is spotless. The owner, Mr. Deng, is a remarkable man who is fluent in English and highly knowledgeable about Pingyao and China. I am an American; I have been backpacking off and on all over the world for more than 30 years, and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed -- especially if, like me, you don't speak Chinese.
