As the symbol of modern Shanghai, the bund expose its charming grace to people coming here. Especially in the very early morning, all the buildings on bund are covered under the golden sunshine, really enchanting! On the other side of Huangpu River, local citizens do morning exercise while breathing the morning fresh air and taking the comfortable sunshine.

The Town God is a Taoism Temple, nearby are Yuyuan Garden and Yuyuan Shopping Malls. The dim sum here is very tasty and well-known, but there are usually crowds of people, so come before 8am, then you can avoid being hustled. Yuyuan Garden opens after 8:15am, it is the only venerable garden with ancient flavor in urban Shanghai. Very good place to take photoes.

When mentioned shopping in Shanghai, compared with famous Nanjing Road, there is another area needs to be recommended, that is Huai Hai Road. The shopping environment, goods quality and mode index here are all better than Nanjing Road. The malls open at 10am and close at 10pm usually.

Taking a short cruise tour on Huangpu River nowadays has become a must activity for travelers coming to Shanghai.

Zha Pu Road and Huang He Road are two most famous streets for dining. You can try local Shanghai cuisine here, there are lots of restaurants providing authentic Shanghai flavor.

Renmin Square is the center of Shanghai. You only need to spend ¥100, then you can visit three major sites around, including City Planning Museum, Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Theatre. It will cost like 4 hours here.

If you like jollification, stroll on Nanjing Road, this well-known pedestrian street to experience the hustle and bustle of modern Shanghai.

For youngsters, there are two places for you to enjoy the night life in Shanghai. One is call Xin Tiandi, which not only keeps the old Shanghai flavor but also very fashionable. Another is Hengshan Road with lots of bars of European exotic flavor.
