North Hot Spring is located at the “Little Three Gorges” on the Jialing River, surrounded by ancient temples and mountains, water, gorges, springs, stones, famous for its beauty and elegance. Transportation: Chaotianmen, Jiefangbei and Shapingba all have the buses to Beibei. In Beibei, change a bus to Jinyun Mountain, which should pass by the North Hot Spring.
West Hot Spring is located at the western mouth of the canyon in Dongshan Mountain, Tongliang County. It has a daily flow of more than 2 thousand tons of water. Locals lovingly refer to this spring as the “soup spring,” and the canyon “soup canyon. “ A sulfur spring with weak acidity, the temperature is always 35C, suitable for swimming and soaking. Take a bus from the Caiyuanba Long-distance Bus Station to Tongliang County, and then drive about 20km following the No.319 National Highway to the east.
South Hot Spring was first discovered in the Ming Dynasty, which was then an open-air hot water mud pond. Now, it has been developed into a great facility, with more than 110 bathrooms, large outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a children’s pool. The water is rich in minerals, low in acids and sulfur. The water temperature is generally about 41C. Take the bus from Jiefangbei to Jieshi, and get off at the South Hot Spring.
