On the way from Guilin airport to downtown city, there is a Bear and Tiger Village. It hosts more than 300 tigers, 400 bears, 100 lions and some leopards, snakes, monkeys and birds. There are also some animal performances during the visiting time (8:30-17:30). Entrance fee: Y80 per person, 1-1.4 m at half price, while <1 m free of charge.

"Guilin Shan Shui Jia Tian Xia" means that Guilin is considered one of the most beautiful places in China. It turly is worth of your visit.

Guilin is not a big city and the economy is not as developped as Beijing and Shanghai. When traveling in Guilin, bring enough cash with you, for you will found the credit card is often out of work.

If your digestive system is not very well, resist the lure of the food on the street. I read from the website that to eat some garlics or drink a little bit vinegar before dinner can prevent from the unacclimatization.

Now that you are in Guilin, you must go to Yangshuo, as Guilin is considered on the most beautiful places in China, while Yangshuo boasts the title of "Little Guilin".

The best way to visit Yangshuo is cycling. If you like, you can stop for a family visit and have a taste of the peasant family meal on the way.

The West Street in Yangshuo is a vey good place for shopping at daytime while paradise for entertainment at night.

In a word, Guilin deserves its good reputation!
