Li River cruise tour, Guilin

Day 01: Arrival in Guilin
Our guide will pick you up at Guilin airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. Check in at the hotel. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.) (B+L)

Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin

Day 03: Yangshuo - Lipu - Guilin
Drvie to Lipu. Visit the Fengyu Cave. Drive back to Guilin. After having dinner, enjoy the ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Departure from Guilin
Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Seven Star Park. See off. (B+L)

Yang Shuo on the southern part of china, near Gui Lin is a wonderful place, it is a perfect place to go for adventures and antique shopping. Try to go there at august when everything is easy and really cheap! You can hire local people to take you cycling to mountain caves through some fields surrounded by typical Gui Lin hills and to some rivers where you can take a really fun and fantastic ride on those chinesse classic bamboo raft. Shopping is really great too, very low prices (you have to bargain though... the prices could go lower than you can imagine!!!) And great cafes everywhere all over the town!! Nice bars too. And the town is so beautiful. There are mountains in the middle of the town. And everything is really really cheap. I spent only about US$100 in 3 days for everything!!! Including transport from Nanning. But my friend went there at high season and he spent a lot. So you should probably watch the time to go there

Yangshuo is a virtual fruit basket throughout most of the year. Citrus fruits like pamelos and Mandarin oranges, strawberries, persimmons, chestnuts, kumquats arrive dramatically in their respective seasons. Even local Chinese will drive from Guilin just to have some of Yangshuo's famous beer fish along with a number of amazing "stuffed vegetable" dishes-stuffed pumpkin flower soup. Bargain seekers and art lovers save their money for Yangshuo. During recent years, the town has become the art and handicraft gift center for southern China. Shops on West Street and a line of venders literally a mile long sell an impressive variety of minority handicrafts as well as traditional art. Products include traditional watercolor landscape paintings, calligraphy, painted fans, river pearl jewelry, miniature landscape, opera masks, batik and silk clothing, porcelain, and authentic minority embroidery.

While in Yangshuo, our guide recommended and arranged the Sister Liu Impression Show for us, which was directed by the famour director Zhang Yimou. It was really spectacular, graceful, ethical and impressive. We were all shocked about that. It was performanced in open air by hundreds of actors, who were the residence of different villages in Yangshuo. It is more interesting than the Longji Ethnic Songs and Dances show in Guilin. It is said that Highly recommend Sister Liu Impression Show to any visitors to China. It is really another highlight in Yangshuo except the picturesque natural scenery!
