Confucius Temple, QufuDay 02Jinan - Qufu
In the morning, you will set off to Qufu. As the hometown of Confucius, Qufu is well known for its Confucian culture and Confucian historical relics. After checking in the hotel upon arrival, you will proceed to tour Kong Family Mansion, the Confucius Temple and the Cemetery of Confucius. As the residence for the direct descendants of Confucius, Kong Family Mansion is a typical complex in China's feudal era functioning as both government mansion and residential courtyard. It is located to the east of the Confucius Temple to guard the relics left by Confucius. Built on the former residence of Confucius, the Confucius Temple is a large ancient construction complex second only to the Forbidden City in area and a fine example of China's ancient temple. The temple also houses many historical relics, especially the stone tablets and inscriptions. The Cemetery of Confucius is the tomb yard of Confucius and his families. It is also a family tomb group with the largest area, the longest expansion and the best preservation.

Mt. Taishan, QufuDay 03Qufu - Tai'an - Jinan
Today continue your tour to Tai'an. Upon arrival, you will take a cable car to the top of the Mount Taishan and visit Dai Temple on it. As the top of Wu Yue (five greatest mountains in China), the Mount Taishan is a shrine for the emperors to offer ceremonial sacrifices to heaven and earth in ancient times. In addition to its culture background, the Mount Taishan boasts imposing natural scenery and ancient constructions. Dai Temple is the largest and best-preserved among the constructions, which is a Taoism Temple used by the emperors to make sacrifice to the Gods of Heaven and Earth and worship the God of the Mt. Taishan. When the tour in Tai'an ends, you will go back to Jinan and check in the hotel again.

Dai Temple, QufuDay 04Departure from Jinan
When traveling to Jinan, a visit to the spring is a must, for it is a famous 'Springs City' boasting hundreds of springs. Today, our guide will accompany you to tour the Baotu Spring and the Black Tiger Spring. Baotu Spring is renowned as the best of the 72 famous springs in Jinan and the earliest of them included in history records. Here, you could enjoy the water bursting out from the three outlets, creating thunderous sounds and spraying water jets; you could appreciate the ancient pavilions and halls reflecting in the clear water, creating a landscape virtually emulating paradise. The Black Tiger Spring is one of the four most famous spring groups in Jinan. It is named so because the water pours out from three stone sculptures in the shape of tiger head and the sound created is like the tiger roaring. Your tour in Jinan ends here and our guide will transfer you to the airport to see you off.
