Day One: Entry Xian

Day Two: Xian
Highlight morning excursion transfers you to visit the amazing Terracotta Soldiers Museum. This afternoon, visit the well-preserved Islamic Great Mosque and the landmark of this city - Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day Three: Xian - Urumqi
Have a visit to witness historical collections listed in the Shaanxi History Museum. Fly to the most ‘inland’ city Urumqi. TCG guide will wait for you at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 2 night stay. Balance of the day is on your own.

Day Four: Urumqi
Today, you will enjoy a full day trip to the Heavenly Lake which nestle in the middle of Bogda Peak 110 km (68miles) east of Urumqi.

Day Five: Urumqi - Kashgar
Take one hour driving to the Southern Pastures (West White Poplar Gully) to enjoy the beautiful pasture and the pastoral Kazakh inhabit and graze. Return to Urumqi to see Xinjiang Museum. Fly to Kashgar one of the most important town on the ancient Silk Road. Stay at the local best hotel for 2 nights.

Day Six: Kashgar
Take a full day tour which covers the highlights of Kashgar: the Id Kah Mosque, the Old Street, the Abakh Khoja Tomb and the local kindergarten.

Take a chance to experience the lively and flourishing local market and be invited to a local family. Fly back to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel.

It's no problem for senior travelers to climb up to the city wall. It's just 12 meters high with the normal steps. The entrance fee of the city wall is CNY40.00. You can enter from both South Gate or East Gate. It's totally 13.7km long as a circle. The most beautiful section is the South Gate part. There are electronic cars and bicycles for rent on the wall. Lots of people choose to take a circle tour around the city wall by bicycle or by electronic car.
