Beijing Hutong: Yandaixie Street Pictures

Yandaixie Street (Skewed Tabacco Pouch Street), 232 meters long, is a narrow street winding its way from the Drum Tower to the Yinding Bridge of Shichahai. In the past, it was mainly in this hutong that tobacco pouches and smoking sets were sold, hence its name. Nowadays, it has been rebuilt as a commercial street where there are more than 60 stores specializing in the sale of tobacco pipes, lanterns, kites, tea sets, curios, national costumes, folk craftwork and traditional needlework.

Form the airport to Jade Garden Hotel, the convenient and economical way is taking subway. You could take the Beijing airport express train and shift to subway line 2 at Dongzhimen Station, then transfer to subway line 1 at Jianguomen Station and get off at Tiananmen East Station. Getting out from Exit B (northeast exit), you could walk to the hotel directly along Nanheyan Street, it is about 600 meters.
