Pictures of Ci Qi Kou (Porcelain Village)

The small street in the porcelain village is busy at all times.

Situated on the bank of Jialing River, not far from its confluence with the mighty Yangtze is the ancient village of Ci Qi Kou. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911), the place was famous for its production of porcelain. To date, over 20 old kiln sites have been discovered there, which conveys an impression of what Chongqing would have been like in the distant past. This fact has been recognized by the State Council and in 1998 here became a protected cultural site. Attraction Intro: Ci Qi Kou

As I know the bus from Yichang to Chongqing will take about one day. And, seldom buses depart from Wuhan to Chongqing since the train is more convenient between them. So, it is suggested that you consider traveling among them by train.

Please advice:
1) Which is the best way to travel from Chengdu to Chongqing? Train or bus? where is the station and can we buy tickets on line?
2) where do we go from Chongqing to board the boat for the 3night Yangstze River cruise?
3) we disembark to Yiching then how do we go to Wuhan? Bus or train?
4) From Wuhan, where can we go (surrounding areas) before we go to Shanghai?
I will be so grateful to anyone who can enlighten me on the above questions. I am so confused. I have 20 days time to travel from Chengdu and end up in Shanghai for departure.
Sincere Thanks

I think taking a train is better, since it takes the same time and much cheaper than that of taking a bus. You may take a train from Chongqing North Railway Station, and the train tickets could be booked through China trains(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/). You should board the cruise ship from Chongqing Chaotianmen Dock. From Yichang(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hubei/yichang/) to wuhan, I still advise you take a train which takes less time and money. There are some well-know attractions in Wuhan like Yellow Crane Tower(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/hubei/wuhan/yellowcrane.htm) & East Lake(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/hubei/wuhan/donghu.htm), maybe you may spend some time there.

Thank you so much but on looking at train timetable, I need to specify Wuhan Wuchang or Hankou. Which one should I choose?

There are 4 trains from Yichang to Wuhan K8044/K8082 to Hankou and K8086 to Wuchang. You may choose one according to your departure time. If the three trains are all not proper for you, you may take a bus from Dagongqiao passenger station of Yichang to Wuhan, where there is a shuttle bus to Wuhan every 30 minutes from 06:50-18:00 daily.

No direct flight and haven't heard the news about new airlines to Korea. You can make a transfer at Beijing.
