The Li River is the mother river of Guilin, it is also the cream of Guilin tourist industry. Taking a downstream cruise on the Li River to Yangshuo is a wonderful enjoyment. Its water is sparklingly clear so that one can see its gleaming pebble-paved bottom with lively fish and shrimp darting about.
