The Japanese killed the innocent Chinese people but in 1945 after Japan was defeated and withdrew from China, the ordinary Chinese people adopted and brought up the Japanese orphans. About 4,000 Japanese orphans were fostered by generous Chinese people in 29 provinces over China.
