Xi'an Botanic Garden was established in 1959. It is near to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It collects about 3,400 kinds of plants, which are divided into nine areas: Medical Plant Area, Aquatic Plant Area, Flower Area, Oil Plant Area, Fragrant Plant Area, Monocotyledonous Plant Area, Dicotyledonous Plant Area, Gymnospermous Plant Area and Magnolia Garden. It really is a paradise full of exotic flowers and rare plants. In spring, flowers in it are in full bloom and the grass is richly green. Where in Xi'an can I view a public or private bonsai tree display?

Ben, you can visit Tangyuan to view bonsai trees. Tourism line 6 can take you there. However, you need to pay CNY 50 to buy an entrance ticket.
