The exhibitions are sorted by times, including prehistoric times, Shang & Western Zhou Dynasties (16 century BC-711BC), Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC-221BC), Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC), Han Dynasty (206BC-220), Jin & Northern and Southern Dynasties (265-589) and Sui & Tang Dynasties (581-907).

Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient Buddhist building. It stands in Da Ci'en Temple, surrounded by Wild Goose Pagoda Plaza. The plaza is frequented by tourists.
The Bell Tower is located at the center of Xian City, where the East, South, West and North Street converge.
Known as the symbol of Xian, the Bell Tower and Drum Tower were originally built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Bell Tower, with a huge bell once used for telling time, lies at the very heart of the City and is the juncture of four main roads extending to the east, south, west and north. The Drum Tower is located to the northwest of Bell Tower at the end of the Muslim Street.
