Qin Dynasty(221BC-206BC) was the first multi-national, centralized and bureaucratic state in Chinese history. Also known as Emperor Qin Shi Huang, Ying Zheng, the first emperor of the Qin, conquered all six rival kingdoms and unified China. During his reign, Ying Zheng standardized weights and measures and the written characters. The Terra Cotta Army in Xi'an was also built during that time.
