Photos of Relics of Eastern Zhou Dynasty
The Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC-476BC) is a special period in Chinese history. It is a tumultuous transitional period for ancient China from the Slavery to the Feudal Society. It is divided into two phases: the Spring and Autumn Period (770BC-476BC) and the Warring States Period (476BC-221BC). Great changes took places in various aspects of social lives of that era.

The bronze Tiger Tally with the characters upon it is the token in ancient China which is given to the subjects by the emperor for ordering the army. This one in Shaanxi Provincial History Museum is one of the three Tiger Tallies in the world.
