Zhujiajiao is a folding fan shaped town, laid among the beauty of gleaming lakes and hills. It was once a flourishing town well-known for its fabric and cloth industry. At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Zhujiajiao become a rich town, abundant in rice, with busy long streets full of shops.
