Situated in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, Mt. Emei is one of the Four Most Famous Sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. The mountain is towering and magnificent with the Golden Summit as the main peak. Mt. Emei is renowned for its natural beauty, especially its four spectacles: sea of cloud, sunrise, Buddhist halos and saint lamps. It is inscribed in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List in 1996.
