Lake Manasarova Pictures

Pilgrims believe the pure water from the Lake Manasarova can wash away their sins and take it back home as a precious gift.

To the southeast of the Mt. Kailash, the Lake Manasarova is the holy lake of Hinduism, Buddhism and Bon Religion. Actually, Manasarova is a fresh lake with the highest altitude 4,588 meters in the world. It covers an area of about 412 square kilometers and is 70 meters at its deepest part.
